looking for an xj

I am in the market for another xj and would like to know if there are any particular years to look for ...... or to stay away from.
I will be lifting it for off-road work. I have a 1992 that my son wrecked and I don't think there is a better vehicle on the road, particularly for the money.

Do a search, there are lots of threads about this kind of thing. I wouldn't get anything newer than '96...too much computer controlling. 87-90's get slightly better gas mileage, they have a bit less HP to begin with but respond better to mods.
