can you do before you have to change the controll arms?

how much lift do you get out of zj coils?

4.5"s+ is when you need LCAs

5"s+ you should get UCAs

V8 ZJ coils are about .5-1"s higher, depending on brand

What is an UCA?

UCA= Upper Control Arms
LCA= Lower Control Arms
ADJ CA= Adjustable Control Arms.

what about shocks
can you use the ones you have or the zj shocks

my cherokee was done with all new stuff but Im now trying to make a trade and lifting a guys cherokee is my part. In case anyone was wondering

When I put my 2" lift in, I could run the stock shocks on the street but there wasn't really enough extension left to use off-road. When I moved to the 4.5" lift, I kept the rear 2" shocks on for a week and noticed the same - only 2" of downtravel left. So yeah, you'll need new shocks.
