right front springs all over the place

I've had the ome 4" lift on my 00' xj and it rides really well. Problem is when I hit a pothole on the front right it seems the shock isn't controlling the spring. Just keeps goin up and down uncontrollably. Only thing I know thats wrong is that I didn't put the plastic boot for the trackbar on the adjusting side so it pops. Any suggestions?

bad shock???? SHock should be controlling the springing motion for you......
