Does anyone know if ZJ Swaybars are any bigger than XJ Swaybars?

Dunno -- but define your terms. There have been at least three, maybe four, different front sway bars used on the XJ over the years, depending on year and model. The largest is about 1-1/16" diameter and was used in early Wagoneer and Cherokee Limiteds.

Addco has one that's 1-1/8" diameter that is supposed to be a direct replacement.

My XJ has a 28mm front swaybar (nearly 1-1/8"). It also has one at the rear but I haven't checked the size of that one.

I didnt know different XJs had different swaybars, thanks Eagle

Ill have to make a trip to the junkyard to see if they have any of those big swaybars...

I have a pioneer, so im betting it has the small one, but ill measure just to make sure

it was good to find out this stuff before I went out and spent the 140$ for the addco...:eek:

are those standard equipment in saudi? I wonder how much it would cost to ship one out to the states ;) :cool: :D

My '93 country has the larger size one. Check for one with a up country suspension (just a thought)

Just checked the wife's V8 ZJ Ltd- looks like 1" dia. No wonder it handles like a boat.
