Radiator fan - aux electric one

Well, the electric fan on my cherokee has about died...when it comes on, it sounded so bad, I thought the A/C compressor was toast.

My question is, is it easier/better to just replace the whole assembly, or can the bearings be replaced easily ?

And where is a good place to get one ??

I see a lot of the new S shape blade fans...are they better ??

See if you can find a 10-blade curved from a low mileage wreck at the yard or a part-out. They are quieter and move more air than the old square blade setup, and the OEM motors are better than aftermarket motors.
