Rebuilt AX-15

There are some things to be added to that price. You will need shipping both ways in order to get your core charge back.

I would look at that as $800 to get your transmission rebuilt. What would it cost to have that done locally?

Local may have a service advantage too, should there be a need for customer service after the sale.

IIRC, you can find reman units on ebay for ~7-800 even less on occasion.

Have you done a fluid change in it with syncromesh or mt90?
I have well over 300k on my ax15 and while it can be grumpy on cold mornings it doesnt do to bad.

If you have some patience, a press, a bearing plate, seal puller and are the hands-on type, you can rebuild it for less than around $200 in parts... If not, think of it like a $600 labor bill plus other costs previously mentioned (shipping, etc..). I tackled mine and it really wasn't all that bad.

Keep shifting alive!
