Transfercase chain width

My 300,000 plus mile NP231 is making noise so, I'm planning on rebuilding it and want to be sure I get the right chain.
I see listings for a 1" and 1 1/4" wide chain.....I'm fairly sure it's a 1" but, need verification before I order parts.

1 1/4 is the heavy duty Dodge np 231 chain & the old np207.

Jeeps should be the 1" chain.

Grinding and clunking and won't always come out of 4hi unless I stop and/or back up a skosh to unload it.
Also has a very pronounced vibration at around 65mph and gets worse the faster I go. Thought is was due to the worn front slip yoke and put in a new drive shaft, got better but still there....front pinion angle is good. I'm thinking, a bad front output bearing or chain.....just gonna go through the whole thing.
Hoping there are no hard parts damaged.
