So i recently I did a motor swap after the dreaded 0331 fiasco and now after about a week of driving on the new motor i am getting a P0432 code. Have read the forums and understand that 99 out of 100 it's the CATs and suspect that the damaged was caused by the old motor as I got a CEL two days before we pulled it.
My question is this, searching the internet i can find CATs all day long for 250 bucks but Cali CATs are twice to three times as much. All internet suppliers posting "Will not ship to California". Ill be in Utah net month and want to know whats the difference (other than price) in these NON California CATs and will the PCM recognize that these are different. Don't suspect or expect the guy that has smogged all my cars for years will recognize either.
