Nate's 4x4 roof rack install

Hey has anyone installed nate's roof rack before? Or similar roof racks? I kind of got an idea how to mount it to my gutters but I'd like to be sure I'm doing it right so it doesn't fly off on the highway. https://imgur.com/a/4vmax this is kind of my under standing how its mounted. Does the U bolts go around the outside pointing in? Or should it be reversed from how I have it?

U Bolts go around the rail, pointing out. your lock nuts should be on the outside. If you have removed your factory racks, you will need to drop down the bottom set of holes to drop the rack down closer to the cab.
