Have been running the 5" Rubicon Express/DPG Off-road Extreme Duty Hybrid kit for the last 9 years and it is starting to show its age. I have been happy with the kit except for the rock magnets ... I mean control arm drop brackets. I cant seem to go over anything without slamming the drop brackets.
Was considering removing the drop brackets. It has become a trail only rig, so the need for on road handling has been removed, so I don't think the drop brackets are really necessary. In order to remove the drop brackets, I have to do a fair amount of disassembly, so much that I was thinking about going to a long arm set up.
So ... long arm or just remove the drop brackets and see what happens? Thoughts?
