Side mirrors

I have a 1994 xj and I need to replace my side mirrors.I read some where I could replace them with 97 or newer mirror. Will they work and would I need to trim them to make them fit?

Plug n pray. Power mirrors will have a different connector if you care about that.

The mirrors I have are not power, manual

They bolt right in; no modification required, other than cutting the power cable short, to clear the inside trim piece. Speaking of trim, if you currently have manual remote mirrors, grab the trim piece from the donor vehicle, to get the inside trim piece without the hole in the center. You will not be hooking up the cables for the manual remote.
