Another Cherokee with a wiring issue

So today I was driving to go help my dad at about 80-85 and the gauges stopped responding, the radio quit ( aftermarket head unit. Haven't had an issue yet with it) and the speedo is almost touching the trip-reset button. I tried the cluster test ( hold trip with key off. Turn key on and release trip) and all the lights worked but the gauges didn't do a thing. Also the tach is stuck at about 250 and the speedo is beyond straight down. Its my daily that gets me to school and back along with work. It still starts and drives fine but no gauges or radio sucks. Any help as to what it could be?

I hate to say it, but replacing a fuse does not fix the problem. Why did the fuse blow?

Under hood light had fallen and was laying on the frame with no lens on it, effectively shorting to ground. I should have added it to the last post. I just unplugged the light and tossed it in the back.
