Steering shaft slop

My Jeep is a mess....like all Jeeps. Trying to sort out all sorts of things. I have a Durango (Lares) steering box in it, that I don't care for, so I am going to go back to OEM, eventually. However, I wonder if I have a lot of slop in the steering shaft, or if this is normal.

The movement is left to right as far as I can go without moving the tires. Is that movement the result of issues with the box?

If all the tre's are tight and track bar is ok, that is most likely in the box. My steering shaft separated, but it was closer to the firewall, just out of shot of your video. You have to grab it with two hands or you'll never see it. Although I think they changed the design in the later models. Mine is a 92.
