Extended shackle and tail pipe

I had a new tailpipe put on and the guy had it out of the way... I wanted to have him fab up some shit but he seemed against it or for me just reversing the leafs spring bolt. Someone at a shop had told me that you're not supposed to reverse these. Any thoughts?

Yea seems easy enough will do.dude at 4x4 shop told me it's bad can't remember why

Because he doesn't know what he is talking about, that's why. Flip the bolt, maybe trim it a bit, and have fun.
