Whether to Keep or not...

I've got 2k Black XJ that I've owned since new. She's bruised and battered. NJ and Ohio salts have eaten the rockers and part of the driver's front floor pan. I've done allot over the years, new radiator, water pump, typical stuff besides what listed in the sig below.
I'm on the fence now, try to chase the rust with tube rockers and sheet metal or move it all over to a "fresher" xj that I picked up that's has solid rockers and floors.

Any way I look at it, it's allot of work; axles, bumpers, sye, armor and so on will need to move. Keeping the old one is welding in 2x6 (I'm a newbie at welding), sheet for the floor and whatever else I find under the undercoating.

Either way I bought CavFab's 3 link to replace my drops and will get some new springs to replace my front saggers and add a leaf rear.

My heart's saying "Save her!" My brain's saying "New Build"

If it was me, fix it and now you got something else to drive while you work on it! I'm doing the same right now: cut out the entire rocker up to the bottom hinge, and replacing pass. Side floor that rusted out thanks to a windshield leak.
