Can i upgrade a ford dan 44 hub/rotor to 5/8" studs?

i i have a ford HP44 running ford hubs and rotors on chevy calipers, currently with 1/2-20 studs... i need to replace the studs with longer ones for the beadlocks i purchased. the beadlocks will accept a 5/8" stud. i am concerned that the head of the knurled stud will not fit inside the rotor hat. anyone?

I'll be following this, I have an hp44 with early large bearing Chevy outters, and the stock studs are smaller than my rear studs on my 35 spline 9"

Well what I did was run a 1.25" spacer with 9/16 studs, then got a bag of 1/2" bulge acorn open end short nuts to hold them on to the rotors. That way you can red lock tight them after a good install and they never have to come off. Then you just get 9/16 Long lugs for the wheels and they stick out far enough of the beadlocks to make on/off a breeze.

wheel spacers is an option i had not thought of. i dont need them, as i clear my control arms at full lock just fine.

but that would save me the issue of trying to drill out my rear shafts for new studs. i am a little worried about ruining 35 spline shafts.
