Rear Frame Nut Strip

Brand new member here,
Recently purchased a 2000 Cherokee Sport for our twins 1st car. Needs a little work .
Today I started to remove muffler/tailpipe . Problem the rear tailpipe hanger won't come off !!! One bolt came out some what easy, second one PROBLEM seems the nut just spins inside frame .
Looks like I need to remove rear bumper and install new Nut Strip ??
Has anyone done this before ? If so where did you get Nut Strips?

Sounds like the nut came off the strip. The dealer ones are NLA, at least for one side. I used Crown from 4wd.com when I did my 2001 this summer. Helps if you rivet them back into place like they came from the factory but if you don't have a riveter you can still do it. Rear bumper must come off. Start spraying now.
