How to lube the rear shackles????

It's getting pretty hard to live with all the creaking from the rear shackles. I have been able to mediate this a tiny bit by squirting WD-40 at them, but it doesn't last long. I can't see any way to get any decent grease into those things. Is there a way to do this?

Maybe you could drill and tap a hole in there for a grease zerk?

Adding a zerk would be super simple. You'll need a 7/32 bit and a 1/4-28 tap.

I added zerks to the shackle/spring bolts via lathe, it was simple but since then I have changed springs, shackles and axles so this time around I'm going to paste the bolts with anti seize and call it good.
