Durango steering column shifter into 97+ XJ/MJ

Hello!

I just make a 97+ interior swap into my Comanche and I was wondering if I can use to dodge durango steering column shifter in order to save cabin space,
Is this possible? someone already done it?

This is the 97+ cherokee steering column

This is the durango steering column with transmission shifter that I want to use.

If 4x4 you will still have the T-case shifter on the tunnel. It is at least less of an intrusion and generally less often used.

I know of some renix era comanches and some police cherokees used to have steering column shifter and the transfer case shifter looks like this,

Comanche also has foot pedal parking brake

You can get a cable shifter for it and locate the t-case shifter anywhere..
