Brake Hardline size, discs all around.

I've got big Ferd twin piston calipers in the front, Chevvy 1/2 ton calipers in the back. I will be upgrading the M/C & booster later on.

Right now I'm running all my new brakelines, should I upgrade the ID size of the hardline running to the rear brakes or will the stock line be sufficient?
 
I have the same brakes....

gonna run 3/16 line....

I'm not sure when its best to go up to 1/4".....

maybe someone out there knows some science on this.....I'm curious
 
I run 5/8"....and a brake line cooler. Don't want that fluid getting hot.
