I have been trying to track down the cause of my transmission codes for almost a week now. I have a 98 Cherokee with newly rebuilt auto trans. The shop that did the rebuild (previous owner) did not replace the sensors. I started with codes p0700, p0705, p0740. I replaced the TPS and cleaned/adjusted the NSS
I can start in park and neutral, have reversed lights but now I have codes p0715 and no p0700. Fluid isn't burnt and smells good. I'm not entirely sure where to go from here...TCU, solenoids? Hopefully someone has had this happen before (couldn't search from phone)
I appreciate any help. Trans shop that did the rebuild doesn't warranty the solenoids cause they didn't replace them.
