Built a rear bumper for the new rig.

This is my first time ever tinkering with mods for the jeep.

Good looking so far, but if you plan on running any 4x4 trails, or using the receiver for more than hauling bikes, you need to add some frame rail brackets. Capture the same bolt holes as a receiver hitch. The 8 rear cross member bolts cannot support a heavy pull, the cross member will bend and let the bumper hit the tailgate if you drop off a ledge and whack it.

See this thread on another forum ( http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/how-mount-your-xj-rear-bumper-inside-frame-1180759/ ) and search for some of the NAXJA rear bumper builds.

Yeah, I plan to add a couple of brackets this week, right now all we are going to use it for is the bike rack and hitchpacker.
