Solid diff fill plug

I bought a Solid differential cover for my 8.25 a few weeks ago. Finally got around to installing it this morning and I have lost the fill plug. :dunce:
Does anyone know what size the fill plug is? I really don't want to have to take the cover off to take into to town and find the right size.

Most diff fill plugs are 1/2" x 14 pipe thread. What Solid is, I don't know.

I didn't have the rite Allen socket for the solid cover so I used the stock Dana 30 plug. Too bad 8.25s have a rubber plug

I'm with JB - I want to say it's 1/2 NPT

1/2" NPT is the correct size. Just thought I'd update for anyone who may find this thread through a search in the future.
