Long story short a good friend with a 97 xj just blow up his d35 with 3.55 gears

he needs to get it back on the road. let me know what you have

I have a 29 spline 8.25 3.55 gears in my 97 I'll pull out for $200

Do you have the drive shaft, u bolts and spring purches? The 8.25 is a lot different the the d35. Would prefer a d35. Lot less work

Its in the jeep still and everything is there $250 for the whole upgrade complete.

A Chrysler 8.25, from a late model Xj, is exactly the same as a Dana 35 in a late model Xj as far as 'bolting in' is concerned.

Leaf pads, shocks etc are in the same exact spot. Not to mention a 8.25 is a way better axle than a d35

A 8.25 has a larger dia tube hence needing the u bolts being bigger and different top spring plates. the 8.25 also has a drive shaft thats ~2" shorter

if you have all that great. if not..... not going to help my buddy get back on the road

Mine is in a complete low mile 117k xj that has never been wheeled.
All in good shape. With every part you need 360-433-7818 call or text if they want it.
