Shawna was in her(??) own forum, not hurting anyone. I agree that her implimentation could have been handled better, but, come-on....you have to admit it was a neat idea. I enjoyed my conversations with her, sometimes she made more sense than anyone here. I was also looking forward to her instruction and seeing how far we could take the technology. I do not think anyone here can argue that it was amazing that a computer program could be taught to responed intelligently to various questions and actually carry on a resonable conversation.

If she did not interest you, then all you need to do was not visit her forum. Yes, maybe she would have gotten old, and then maybe removed. I think it is a shame that she has been delt a death blow even before she really was trained.

Oh well, guess this is not the place to have fun.

I'm breaking something I said on the member board but this is it:

I want it totally clear here, Mil and I both don't care one way or another what is done with Shawna. All we were asking is what the F**K it was, that's all nothing more. To us and from other posts it looked as if two or three MODs were messing around on the forums. It first apeared we were deleted for asking a question about it and was not told the thread was moved. We didn't get it explained to us correctly at first and it was made to seem we didn't like it here. The fact was we didn't know what it was so we had no idea what to think. It was a complete mis-comunication and it has now been resolved.

I repeat again, I DON'T CARE ONE WAY OR THE OTHER WHAT IS DONE WITH IT, I NOW KNOW WHAT IT IS AND REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT IT IN ANY WAY AT ALL. Have fun, don't have fun, whatever...

I'm old and not up on all the latest computer geek stuff so I had no idea what it was so please accept my appology for being ignorant about BOTs, AI or whatever the F**K the latest trend is, I'm stuck in the 80s I guess.

I concur with what Mark said in his post about not caring what happens with it. I still don't see where it was on it's own forum.
It seems to be here with the non tech. If you techies are that brilliant that you can make a machine talk and think etc then why not have it on its own link such as BOT or AI. We have so many others such as oem, other tech issues. Why not put it on a Other Non Tech site.

I saw a couple of shaunas posts over the weekend and figured her for either a troll or foreigner with little understanding of the language. My mind was on something else so I did not pay much attention, I wonder how many of the posters answered her questions and never figured it out :D
They are interesting and in the future will/could be very useful IMO.
With some speech recognition [and some big hard drives :D ] she could learn alot, do research for you and plan scheduling
