Remember when the little green and black linkage bushings used to be rubber not plastic like the crown replacements or the crap the dealer is pawning now?

I do....

Remember how easy they were to install and didn't break like the plastic ones?

I do....

So where are they?
extinct?

I just put new dealer bushings in a couple of hours ago. They are pretty hard but went in OK. I put sliding fluid on the bushings and rod ends before using pliers and pry bar to re-assemble. Spray silicone would probably work too.

Maybe time to UPGRADE from the factory linkage to something like boostwerks offers?

I haven't used the Crown bushings so I can't compare. The dealer ones are pretty hard but didn't break.

The factory linkage bushings were a plastic of some sort starting at some point too. I keep all the ones I remove from junk yards as spares. I have never broke one either.
