Need help finding a part.

Trying to find a cam thrust pin and spring. part number 8350-2890. Going in a 96 4.0 that was just rebuilt. Dealer said it is on back order with 140 ordered. Ordered it through moparonlineparts.com and they said it is back ordered as well.

Any suggestions?

that is not a part that usually wears out, when I rebuilt mine at 330000 it was still in good shape so I am running it still

Called Comp Cams, they didn't have it. Reffered me to Pioneer parts and they didn't have it. Guess it is back to the jy.

try hesco. www.hesco.us.

Alternatively replace the spring and pin with a solid pin. Set the end play manually by shaving the pin until yo have around .004" end play.

Crane cams or moroso will have it. Anyone who makes cams or timming sets should have the small parts too.

Check a summit catalog too

Finally found it. Called the company to make sure they had it in Stock before I ordered. Guy said he just added the jeep part number to the search yesterday. Looked on eBay last week and nothing.
