Headliner install with sound bar

My 2001 has a build in rear sound bar. As I start the install with new headliner material, should I start on the rear with the contours of the sound bar speaker openings and end with the flat front, or start at the front and end with the contours? Is there a pro or con either way? Does it even matter?

I really want this to be a one and done deal. It is all prepped and all the old foam and glue is off and the backer board is ready.

I don't think it makes a huge difference. I did it on my 98 with the built-in soundbar, and worked from the front to the back since I was afraid of the speakers.

I can't see it mattering.
