Need Help. Power steering pump squeak.

Hey guys first actual post on ::. Long time lurker.

Anyhow, I have a 1988 XJ. I had a crack in the power steering pump reservoir so I I just replaced.

Now I am getting a belt squeak at higher RPMs. I am not sure what I messed up when I was in there. The belt did not squeak prior. Any helpful tips or trouble shooting ideas? :us:

Could be the tension on your belt. I use a Krikit II belt tension gauge from NAPA, about $15. The belt needs to be TIGHT. The gauge takes the guess work out of it.

I've had the same issue and tightening the belt always solved the problem for me.
