So i prepped my 99' jeep xj for a 2000 mile road trip. It had an odd idle, rpm's died on first use of acceleration and the car was sluggish. I put in a new IAC, a TPS, and a new oxygen sensor. I did these all I at different times to see the effects.
The xj got 20 mpg highway, a good amount of pick up and go that i never had before, I loved it.
The NAPA TPS crapped out on me, so I got a new one. With this new one my xj is not nearly as peppy also first start up rpms die once I hit the gas, then later it is fine.
Should i even try a new tps? this replacement tps is a BWD instead of a NAPA brand.

Genuine Jeep sensors work best, and last the longest. Cheap parts are cheap for a reason.
