Pinion angle for double cardan -3* ok?

In the middle of an 8.8 swap and my test fit yields a 15* pinion angle and 18* ds angle. Was shooting for -2* on the pinion. Brackets are just tacked so not a big deal to move them but I don't want to waste my time if its not worth it.

Haven't turned much up other than that 2* is approximately right.

Thanks!

I read some tecno-babble years ago that Hooke's universal joints don't have the type of thrust bearing in the ends of the caps that would be required to run 0*and be reliable and they also have an output speed pulse that get's worse as the angle gets more severe. I am kind of surprised I remembered that, useless as it may be.

-2,-3 same diff,
all the shims ive found are in 2deg incerements, it must not be that crucial

I always kind of followed this thought in my mind using the same justification.
