I plugged in my cig lighter for the first time since I've owned the jeep to light a smoke. And it died and now no start no crank. It's a 98 XJ with 4.0 and auto trans. Please help asap

Yupper doodle. Check all fuses. The fuse for the cig lighter is in the cab in the kick panel. Here is a link to more detailed information on the location.
