Possible TPS problem

I have a 90 XJ, with the AW-4 and I was having the typical bad TPS, shifting problems. Now I have a no fire condition, Cranks all day, no sparks though. Will the TPS completely failing cause this, or am I blaming a different problem on it?

Sounds morel like the CPS.

CPS - unplug cps wire harness connector and replug this usually gets you a better connection and gets you going. If so do a search for my connector/cps test and rebuild post over the last few months. Greg
