Rear Hatch Lock Bolt

Hi all

Does anyone know the size of the bolts that attach the locking mechanism to the rear hatch? As well as where I could find one? 1999 Cherokee Thanks!

I don't remember the size.
I don't know where you'd find a junkyard near NYC but if you do, go there & get yourself a handful of them. Install with loctite & they won't go missing again. My '98 did the same thing - makes it a PITA to open the hatch...

If you've got a mailing address, I found one or two spares while looking for a different bolt. Of course, by the time I remember to send it you might already have been to the JY. Let me know if you want to try the experiment
