jJKS OTA Mount location question.

I've seen people do this both ways. With on coil bucket top. Or lined up on OEM TB Mount against bucket. Which should I do does it matter that much? Curious before I burn it on. I'm at 4.5 lift doing OTK and gonna shorten and resleeve my iro double shear track bar.

i did mine like the first picture. i thought it would be better so i could cut off the old factory mount.

I did mine on top also, you want it as far back as you can if your going OTK becacuse the Tie rod hits it and limits steering You should also trim and plate the front of the bucket.

ok yea im using offset tre but still kinda wanted to do it on top, and i was thinking about plating the bucket too. With it on top it has like a pretty good gap between the front and old track bar mount. Its slightly closer to the axle tube doing it on top which is probably better.

Yup, put it on top of the spring perch and cut off all the stuff under the perch.

Alright sounds good. I guess if it all lined up good I was going to remove the old track bar mount and maybe reinforce some where the mount was.
