Hi all,
I'd like to put an aftermarket bluetooth kit in, with its own amp since i CAN'T figure out an auxiliary in on the factory radio, and i DON'T want to put in an aftermarket head unit. two questions before i go ahead with this:
1: How, exactly, does the mute wire work on the dual-7-pin chrysler radios? Can I just run a current on that pin, and it will silence the factory radio? Or is there a more involved process than that?
2: How much power should the amp be putting out? I have a 2001 XJ Limited with the factory speakers, nothing too big or boomy, but I don't want the speakers to sound underpowered.
