power to manual window conversion

So, the scrap yard near me charges an arm and a leg for EVERYTHING.

I want to transfer some manual window components into my in my 4 door '89 with power and delete the wiring,

from some people who have switched before, is it easier to swap the entire door or the guts of it?

if the guts are a bolt on change, I can get the guts pretty cheap, but if the door swap is the best route, I'll have to wait until I can buy another parts rig, its only a little more expensive than buying the doors at the parts yard.

I went the other way and put the power in mine. I had the doors but I didnt want to paint them. If I remember correctly all I had to switch was the regulator (and wiring in my case). Do one door at a time so you can use one as reference. You probably can do it without removing the glass.
