Wj steering question

I've heard enough people say "it works just fine!" to make me believe that yes, it's driveable. Just the same, you'll be introducing some bump steer because the drag link moved but the TB didn't

Before I went to WJ, I went to cross-over steering on XJ knuckles. I did raise the track-bar but not enough. It was only about 1" too low... and it was downright scary to drive.

Unwisely, I DID drive San Diego to the Bay Area that way and made it alive, but it was white knuckle the whole way. I had to try to anticipate every bump and be ready to correct.

YMMV

If you go WJ just run the stock style steering until you can do it right. There really is no reason to half#$% your steering and make it unsafe.
