Arch Canyon/Hotel Rock

I noticed that Arch Canyon/Hotel Rock weren't on the trail schedule. Is anyone planning to run it on Monday? Or anytime during the week?

That trail looked like a lot of fun and has trees.

Arch Canyon is a very beautiful and unique trail, even by Moab standards. I can't recommend it enough! Just plan a full day for it. Maybe that can be an alternative trail if the Fed shutdown causes the cancellation of E-Hill and Shafer/Lathrop? I'm just sayin.

I'd consider leading it instead of elephant hill if it's still closed.

That's a great idea! It will introduce people to the beautiful and undeveloped Cedar Mesa area. Moab will feel like a metropolis by comparison. No junky rigs allowed, it is a 200 mile day and you would not want to be late for the XJ giveaway!
