Shocks

How cheap can I go w shocks? I see that they range from 20 to 200 bucks. How much of a diff ride will expensive shocks provide? I'm planning to use jeep for winter driving on back roads

I started with cheapo white body shocks. They seemed to work great for me.
.......Then I got some bilstiens. Holly hell what a difference they made. Get the cheapos if you are desperate, but these bilstiens were worth every penny. Upgrade to bar pin eliminators at the same time as well.

You did not mention if you had a lift on your Jeep, but that will affect what length the shock needs to be. Stock length shocks may not work if you are lifted. You will need to do some measuring to get the right shock length.
