Things my rig needs before FF...

Surprised no one has started one of these yet.

My list...

Yellow Jeep.
Spring perches cut off and new ones installed.
Cut and rotate one knuckle back 1.5 degrees.
Figure out a different shock mount on my rear axle.
Install CB between heater controls and stereo.

Green Jeep.
Install 99 intake and header
Install CB, same place as Yellow Jeep maybe.
Figure out why spare is always flat yet no one can find a leak.

Trailer.
Install new aluminum hoop for the door on ARB tent.
try to figure out how to use the U-bolt plates on the bottom of the axle even though it's sprung over...so I can install shocks again.
Pull brakes and pack wheel bearings.
Wire up a longer pig tail so I can use the hitch extension I bought. Make it easier to open my swing out tire carrier without hitting the battery box on the nose of the trailer.
 
FIgure out the front end noises
replace tie rod
replace exhaust if i'm driving it 3500 miles in 10 days
get carpet
go through tools and such
replenish my spare sensors
replace rear shocks and weld new mounts to the axle.
 
Comp cut rear / mod rear bumper
9" shaft bearing
Change all fluids
Paint for show and shine :D

Buy trailer for new tow rig.......
 
Jeep

Critical:
replace oil pan
regear and replace front d30 (rebuild front axle)
find spare rear driveshaft
rebuild spare front axle shafts

non-critical:
install 2m radio
find that one annoying clunk

Tow rig:

Critical:
Confirm 3 place trailer.
Check all fluids, replace as needed.
Give it a once over.

Non-critical:
CB install

mac 'just off the top of my head' gyvr
 
Rear bumper w/tire carrier and jerry can mount
Find a 35" spare to go on this bumper ^^
Install rear stiffeners
LCA skids
Build back storage rack for all my crap
Mount fire extinguisher
Collect some spare parts
Mount winch and wire it in
Check about some aux lighting
Change diff fluids
Install front bump stops
May try and add limit straps

I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting but that'll keep me busy for a while.
 
Jeep:
R&R front brakes. Will likely include knuckles
Maybe install parking brake cables
If above is done relocate 2M radio
Diff oil, both

Trailer:
Buy steel and build flatbed
Buy tubes, mount new tires

KLR:
Possibly get 3.5" bar risers
Oil change
Mount trail wheels

Extra:
Buy supplies
Figure out what the hell my plans are

Front tow points (probably C4X4)
Rear bumper (probably a JCR DIY bumper)
Find a good spare tire
New rear shocks
Oil change and check all fluids
Tune up
 
Jeep:
finish polishing dirty turdy with alloys to get another year out of it.
replace cb that got dunked with the rest of the jeep on kane creek after safari.
finish planetary replacement on smitty winch that was also dunked.
locate some cheap 4 pt harnesses and install.
maybe fab up some tube doors.
locate and install some marine speakers. Need my tunes without making my ears bleed from no bass!
maybe, budget dependent, some new wheels and go fast stickies! really depends on if i have to buy a new winch.

Truck:
fuel up

Camper:
de-winterize and load up! (just to winterize again the week after fling LOL)

Hook Jeep to truck and flat tow 780 miles

-find a place for all the crap that's accumulated on top of it since the last trip
-grease bearings
Van
-load with fridge, microwave, and camping gear
Brew a bunch of homebrew
 
Toe pig:
New tires
tune up

Trail pig:
Finish wiring
Finish cage
Hydro assist
New front LCA's
Shake down run

Trailer:
New tires
wire new lighting
break away box
fenders
 
Oh yeah, my dad has a slight bit of work to do before the event as well.
