guage cluster swap?

Has any one tried to swap out guage clusters from a 89 to the new like 91 or so clusters. Yes its all just for a blig factor cause they have alll the cool kits for 91 and newer. I know i can do the white guage kit from gojeep(i belive) but just wonderin.

theyre not interchangable

you can get GOJEEPS kit, you just have to make a hole for your trip meter, i did that

there is also an indiglo kit on ebay that goes for 24.99

You should change for the year you have. In 91 they changed to elctronic which is not compatable with the cable driven one like yours. I have files now made for every year XJ from 84 to 97 from basic to full gauges sets.
