I have a 97 TJ, with an AW-4 swap that's under construction. (It was a 4.0 & AX-15)
(I have extra 1987 21 spline trans complete)
Can I use an early/ 1987 xj torque converter and or flex plate? This is a 21 spline model and different trigger I think then my 1997 4.0L??
I have a good 23 spline aw4 transmission for mock up installed. Its connected to an Atlas that's mounted flat with adapter ring from AA. I have one of the original Rail Shifters from Rory (no plan for any computer control just manual shift with Rail Shifter).
But thats it, I need flex plate, converter, dipstick, tube etc. Anyone local Phx. Area or willing to ship have parts? I need a shifter also, a stock xj one will work with bracket, cable etc.
