Just a quick thread showing what I've been working on.

The specs are as follows:
1990 block
1998 head
Comp cam (cannot remember the number off hand. Built it 5 years ago)
Comp Lifters (MISTAKE! they are lound)
1988 4.2 crank
.30 Sealed Power pistons

I pulled it out of my daughter's TJ before I sold it. It is now going into my off road toy, the '88 in the background.

Since I pulled it, it has gotten the following "upgrades"
LOTs of cleaning and paint
silicon bronze studs and stage 8 locking nuts for the manifold hardware
ford racing 24 lb injectors (it ran LT1 injectors in the TJ)
Lots of stainless fasteners because I am tired of mud coroading things.

The AMC logo paint job is perfect for the engine. :D

If you have a chance to pick up a 1999+ intake manifold and 62mm/63mm throttle body, go for it! It really helps stroked 4.0L engines to breath.

I have the intake and throttle body. I need a later model fuel pump (internally regulated) to make it work.

Right now, I just want to finish the clean up and paint, and get it running. Lots of improvements on the way. This jeep serves as a Test vehicle for my daily driver.
