Power door conversion

Hey guys,
Any write ups on this? Hung a set of 89 power doors on my 87 MJ. Is there ANY of the requisite wiring needed in trucks that came with roll up windows? If not, I suppose I need to search 87-90 XJ's in the boneyard for the harness. Is it 3 pieces?

I just installed power windows on my 87 and I had the entire harness from a power(ed) XJ. It's a seperate harness from what's already in there and contains the wires for the windows and locks. My guess is that your's would be three pieces vs. the XJs 4 or 5 pieces.

Older vehicles typically did not come pre-wired for amenities like that. So best bet, would be an XJ harness/wiring. Unless you can find a comanche with power stuff.

Renix era xj's tended to come with one harness with all the hook ups. Look under the rug.
