I just noticed the end of my wide main drive sprocket has two cutouts for oil passage, as well as a beveled outer bearing surface (for a brass syncro?). Now my old narrow chain sprocket doesn't have these cutouts. Looking at how it sits up against the shift mode ring, it appears the cutouts would cause a substantial loss of oil pressure?
Am I over thinking this, or missing something?
TIA!
