ok to start I bought a 1998 Jeep cherokee xj 2dr 5 speed
It had a few rot issues, the rockers, little door rust and the one im most concerned about is around the rear bumper area. On the drivers side, where the bumper support bolts to the frame is rotted. to be more specific, its the part thats spot welded across the width of the jeep. The shackle mounts looks to be spot welded on that to. I was wondering how I should go about fixing the issue before I have to fix a hole in the floor. I've not welded much but I do have a welder and mess around with it from time to time. Ill get pictures up as soon as I can. Thanks.
