99 driver's door locks itself when closing

my power door locks only recently started working again

and i have the dreaded door sag that i haven't dealt with yet.

but in the past couple weeks (as far as i can tell) the driver's door locks itself when being closed. ?? :wierd:

is this a "feature"? i've locked my keys in the car twice this week alone. i have a spare key, of course, but it's really annoying.

if it's not a feature, is the door sag contributing somehow?

Try unplugging the RKE board in the dome light and see if it still does it.

One might logically suspect that there is a short circuit in the door wiring. An inspection of the wire harness is a good diagnostic starting point.
