Trying to diagnose noise on my XJ.
2001 Jeep XJ 4.0 Sport
stock other then 3" suspension lift.
Loud rotational squeaking sound when turning at slow speeds (like in a parking lot).
Checked the wheel bearing and that looks good. Doesn't happen (or isn't noticeable) at <10mph. Does not occur when going straight.
Any ideas on what to troubleshoot or look at? I was thinking maybe a u-joint, but seems like that would only get louder at high speeds.
Could it be something inside the axle?
It's hard to pin point but is definitely the front and sounds more pronounced from the passenger side.
It's obnoxious and I'd like to get it fixed, but not sure what to replace at this point.
