DIY roof track mount?

Has anyone ever made up a mount that works with the factory roof track on an 84 cherokee? Its not a raised rail and I'm not talking about the gutter, its a channel screwed to either side of the roof, with an opening like an inverted T running the length of the roof. Been searching for a while cant find any info on the track/channel thingy haha.
looking to make a light bar that'll just slide on and off of this.

The ones on surcos website dont look at all like these, theyre too low. mine look like they could be OEM, theyre 2 chrome channnels on either side of the roof, about 3/4 to an inch high, maybe an inch-1.5 wide? with rubber insulators between them and the roof. there are also 3 decorative chrome strips with similar rubber insulators in between the rails. havent been able to find ANY info on these channels or what kit they could be. Ill take a pic in the morning
